How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Definecook Mold Help to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what comes next. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.
Topics We Can Hear About
You can write to us about:
- How your call or contact with Definecook Mold Help went
- How your personal information was handled
- Anything on this site that seems unclear or wrong
- The behavior of a provider we put you in touch with
If the Problem Is With a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one answers for its own estimates, prices, test results, work and customer service. If you are unhappy with work in your home, the usual first step is to take it up with the provider directly. Keep a written record as you go.
Please still let us know. Feedback about providers helps keep our network honest, and a provider who keeps falling short of our expectations may be removed. Note that Definecook Mold Help cannot settle contract disputes, refund money for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@definecook.garden and include:
- Your name and a way to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what outcome you would like
After You Write
We will confirm we got your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened. That may mean reaching out to the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we plan to take.
Still Unhappy?
If our reply does not settle things, write back and ask us to take another look. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. If your state licenses mold assessors or remediators, the licensing agency may be able to help too.
